Max's Kanas City was a legendary rock club located at 213 Park Ave South in New York City
Johnny O'toole was a tough huge-ass guy that took a liking to the band in the early days. He let them practice inside the Fenway Theatre for free, protected them from time to time when they got into a schuffle and introduced them to Frank Connelly, the bands first promoter.
Clive Davis was a top executive at Columbia Records and signed the band after watching them kick ass on stage at Max's
ASCAP means The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers... they deal with copyright, licensing and royalties
BMI means Broadcast Music INC. And it performs the same duties as ASCAP
