So simply I write... with much to say

It's been a year without us

I thought you went away

I've come to know the same thought was yours

At last we reached out and reopened doors

I heard them slam

You heard them close

You watched them silently shut

While they left us both alone

I shouldn't write this

It's to new and to fragile

Lifetimes of love... respect & trust

Now waging a battle

So many years together... they almost broke us

As we rise above

Because God still hold us together as one...
